Grade 5 & 6 News

1. Grade 6s presenting at the 1st Week of Advent celebration, on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.
Grade 6s should be practising their readings at home.

2. Grade 5s and 6s beginning a WWII Book Study.

3. Grade 5s and 6s Math - Working on Probability and Number Sense (the relationship between fractions, decimals, %)

4. Grade 6s - "Because of Mr. Terupt" Culminating Task - Movie Trailer, script writing, and filming coming to an end next week.

5. Grade 5s - "Defiance" Culminating Task - Scrapbook - visiting homes - please take care of our scrapbook and remember to bring it back the very next day !!!! Thank you !

Homework Week of November 14

1. All Junior students interested in trying out for the school play, please see audition lines in your email. Practise and be prepared to try out next week. have a song ready as well.

2. Math - Grade 5s & 6s continue to complete Decimal work. 

3. Grade 6s should be practising their lines for the movie trailer. See lines in email.

4. Grade 6s - Graduation clothing order due - Wednesday is the last day to order !

Student Entry

Please ensure your child has indoor shoes at school. Some students are tracking in mud and dirt to the classroom as they do not have a change of shoes. The weather is changing; all students must have indoor shoes to help keep our classroom clean. Thank you for your support in this matter.

School photos are due November 9, 2016.

School play will be announced soon. Students should be thinking about their audition for the school play. They should plan a small skit, poem, and song.
